About the Company

Claire studied at Glasgow School of Art and began selling silver jewellery in 1988, progressing into designing a few years later. Claire's designs use excellent quality semi-precious stones set in 925 Sterling Silver. Claire and her husband, Lorne, established Travels Afar Ltd in 1997 selling to retail outlets across the UK, Europe, Canada and across the world.

Travels Afar is based on a small island off the West coast of Scotland where Claire designs new silver jewellery pieces throughout the year. She creates new styles for every taste so that your customers will easily find a piece of silver gemstone jewellery that they will love.
